Two months ago, I wasn’t planning to change the course of my life but I had grown frustrated with how university was working during corona.
Through a funny coincidence I got introduced to an interesting job opening in a startup. As our design student association’s corporate relations manager, my task was to pass the job advertisement to our design students and the person who was hiring asked if I was going to apply. No I wasn’t, I told him and explained that I was focusing on my studies and then planning to go into design consulting. I promised to recommend the position to a few of my friends.
A week or two later, I started thinking more about it. I read through the job advertisement and thought that maybe that could be interesting. My main idea was getting a break from university during corona and this could be a handy way to do so.
